Is Our Reality Just a Good Game? The Surprising Truth That Could Change Everything

Is it possible that our universe, and everything in it, is a simulated reality, perhaps run by a super-advanced civilization? You may think the idea is a little stretched or even on the verge of insane but when you truly give it some consideration and explore the arguments to validate it, there is definitely something to it. There are even some serious, powerful, known figures considering it. So, let’s dig in and consider some of the more convincing arguments.

1.Cars and Buses

This is the argument that has somewhat placed me on the path to exploring the possibility that we do all indeed live in a simulation. Personally, when I first came across this argument it blew my mind, and never since have I looked at traffic in the same way again. Cars and busses are virtually everywhere, they are a luxury of modern life, but have you ever gave any consideration to how a car which generally can fit maximum three adult people in the back, side by side, and tightly squeezed together, drives on the same sized lanes as a bus which can comfortably fit four seats and a reasonably sized, wheelchair friendly aisle? Could it be incredibly efficient programming?

2.Glitches

There are some things in life for which the scientific explanations just do not suffice; Déjà Vu, Mandela Effect, Synchronicities…

Déjà vu: The strange feeling of ‘I’ve been here before’ we all get, science suggests it may be a minor malfunction in the brain however, there is no definite, universally agreed scientific explanation. Is it just a trick of the mind, or a momentary hiccup in the simulation?

Mandela Effect: Is it really possible for the vast majority, if not all of the world’s population to misremember specific details? Again, there is no definite, universally agreed scientific explanation. The iconic line from Star Wars, the non-existent monopoly man’s monocle, Pikachu’s tail…How could so many collaboratively remember these wrong? Is it mass delusion, or the developer making tweaks to the historical timeline, or perhaps testing different versions of reality?

Synchronicities: These are the vast meaningful coincidences that cannot be explained by conventional cause-and-effect.

-Thinking of someone and they call or appear: It’s a common experience. Have you ever intensely thought about an old friend you haven’t spoken to in years, and moments later, your phone rings, and it’s them?

-Finding lost items in unlikely places: A woman once found her engraved diamond ring she lost, inside a cod caught by her teenage son. Have you ever lost something irreplaceable, searched for it everywhere, and given up; Then in unexpected or odd circumstances, the item reappeared?

-Receiving a specific message when needed: Have you ever faced a significant life decision which had you feeling uncertain or lost, and then suddenly you stumbled upon a book, overheard a conversation, or seen a sign with a message that directly addressed your dilemma, providing clarity or guidance?

-Repeated Numbers or Symbols: Have you ever noticed you were consistently seeing specific numbers or symbols in various unrelated contexts? Many people report this experience, often when they are contemplating something important or going through a significant life transition.

-Dreams prefiguring reality: Have you ever had a vivid dream about a specific person, place, or event, and then shortly after, that exact person, place, or event manifested in your waking life?

These may seem innocent glitches initially, but the more thought you put into them the clearer the oddity becomes. Could such meaningful coincidences be some sort of hints from the programmers?

3.The Great Silence

Have you ever questioned the deafening silence of cosmos, despite billions of potentially habitable planets? Is it really possible that there is no other life out there? I’m not suggesting aliens but rather evolved societies similar to us. The lack of observable civilizations from other planets is definitely puzzling. Which makes one wonder; Could it be that the developers of our simulation have chosen to keep it isolated?

Final Thoughts

These are just a few of many valid arguments which not only support the idea of life being a simulation but might explain some of the scientifically unexplainable phenomena. So, next time you see that bus smoothly merge into the traffic, experience a glitch in reality, or theorise of the great silence of space ask yourself; Is this just reality…or a really good simulation? And if it is a simulation, does it diminish our lives, or make them even more extraordinary, a carefully crafted masterpiece for some unseen audience?
